UK Government to Seek IP-Based Identification of Users: Reports

The U.K.’s Home Office has disclosed plans to to bring forth a bill that will enable government authorities to use Internet Protocol addresses as a means of helping identify and prosecuting online criminals, and to provide assistance to children who may be at risk of suicide.
