password protected directory not working

I uploaded a web gallery for a photography client of mine and entered a passcode using exact procedure in CP but when I enter the file path in my browser the directory comes up unprotected everytime ….. does anyone know what is happening ? Icon Link (Positive Enhancement)

Is there a way to add some form of positive enhancement when a user clicks an image that’s used as a link? The goal would be to have it perhaps shift 1 pixel up and 1 pixel down then restore to the original position, or have a glow show around the image that flashes on then off, or some other known or standard method. Moving WordPress Blog to new URL on same site

Hello all! I’m hoping to consolidate my website (weatherwest.com) due to time constraints. In short, I’m planning to eliminate all my subdirectories/subdomains and use only the root directory (that is, the only page on my site would be at URL www.weatherwest.com ) to host my existing Wordpress blog (currently located at www.weatherwest.com/current_weather ).
