Users Will Reach for Mobile Device Before PC for Most Online Tasks by 2018: Report
A mobile device will be the main online tool for the majority of users by 2018, according to Gartner “Predicts 2015: Mobile and Wireless.” The report, released this week, finds that the concurrent development of tablet, smartphone, and Wi-Fi markets and technologies are about to shift the traditional model of online computer use to a new, mobile one. Government Organizations Plan to Add Chief Digital Officers, Chief Data Officers Next Year: Gartner
October 30, 2013 — Many government organizations are entering a period of shifting managerial roles and responsibilities, according to a report released by Gartner on Tuesday. The report, entitled “Beyond the CIO: Chief Data or Digital Officers?” predicts that 20 percent of government organizations will add Chief Digital Officers over the next year, with an additional 10 percent adding chief data officers to address similar concerns.
