Singaporean Telecom Singtel Acquires Cybersecurity Firm Trustwave in $810M Deal
Singtel has reached an agreement to acquire Trustwave to offer end-to-end cybersecurity services to businesses around the world. Asia Leads Global Growth in .ORG Registrations: Report
The number of .org domain names registered increased by 1.3 percent in 2014, bringing the number of domains under management of Public Interest Registry (PIR) to over 10.5 million. Supreme Court of India Strikes Down Controversial Online Censorship Law
The Supreme Court of India struck down an online censorship law this week, declaring Section 66A of the Information Technology Act to be unconstitutional, NDTV reports. The law had been the subject of widespread criticism, particularly after it was used to arrest two young Indians for a Facebook post and Facebook like in 2012. Continue reading
