US Cloud Computing Industry Stands to Lose Billions Due to Impact of NSA Surveillance

The cloud computing industry is particularly vulnerable to the effects of NSA bulk surveillance, and could lose billions in the next three to five years, according to a new study. ICANN Suspends Brandon Gray Internet Services, Demands it Stop Sending Deceptive Marketing Materials

ICANN has suspended Brandon Gray Internet Services (DBA Namejuice), the company behind the Domain Registry of America, from registering names until Oct. 17, 2014. For the past 10 years, the company has been sending misleading letters to trick users into renewing their domains with the DROA instead of renewing with the company where they bought it from, usually for a much higher fee.
