Symantec to Discontinue Backup Exec.Cloud; Customers Presented with Next-Step Options

Data security and management company Symantec has announced that it is easing customers away from its Backup Exec.Cloud service. Customers will be unable to buy or renew service contracts from service providers starting January 6, 2014, and it will close entirely January 6, 2015.
