Report: 7 Percent of Americans Depend Solely on Smartphone for Internet Access

More than one in seven young Americans are heavily dependent on their smartphones for Internet access, according to a new report by Pew Research. The independent research center’s US Smartphone Use in 2015 studies American’s use of mobile devices to access the Internet, and finds “smartphone-dependency” is growing.
