EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Gets Green Light from European Commission

Data transfers between the EU and U.S. are now subject to the long-awaited Privacy Shield after the European Commission (EC) took the final step in approving the agreement on Tuesday, by announcing the Commission Implementing Decision (PDF).
