Controversial Cybersecurity Regulations Added to US Budget Bill Up for Friday Vote

The provisions contained in the controversial Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 (or “CISA”) that passed the US Senate in October could be closer to becoming law since the 1,729 pages of CISA regulations were newly included in the 2,000-page-plus omnibus budget bill (PDF) introduced this week by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
