DigitalOcean Adds Floating IP Option to Reduce Application Downtime

Cloud infrastructure provider DigitalOcean has added floating IPs, allowing IP addresses to instantly move from one virtual servers (or “Droplet” in DigitalOcean’s terminology) to another one in the same datacenter to enable applications so that unreachable Droplets don’t leave end-users hanging.
