Akamai Extends CDN Network to Kenya

Akamai gained a point of presence in Kenya this week when it became peered at the Kenya Internet Exchange Point (KIXP). Local provider the Wananchi Group will host content from the Akamai Intelligent Platform, according to reports out of Africa.
