Ireland Closing Tax Loophole Popular with Tech Companies

The Irish government is closing a tax loophole which is estimated to have saved tech companies billions of dollars, it announced as part of an annual budget statement. The “double Irish” loophole will still be available until 2020 under a grandfather clause for those companies currently taking advantage of it.
